Good Bye 2011 !!!

Huh ! 2011 , At last it ends
2011 was not so good for me . It started wid hectic schedule in january , finishing touch to the preparation of jee , preparations of boards ,completing practical files nd all .........
Increased number of classes in VMC added to the problem . The syllabus was going very fast , couldn't keep up wid the syllabus nd many chapters remaining pending :(

Then came Feb , only happines it brought was my birthday , apart from this nthing was in my favour , preboards , test series , practicals  going on . No time  for completing syllabus , gave preboards without prepartion nd test series just revising the previous syllabus which i had done as a result my perfomance didn't improve . I was completely depressed , but VMC classes gave me motivation to go on .
Then came boards .......... Tried to prepare for boards well by completing the syllabus which was not in JEE syllabus . At last boards went gud .
Now came the Biggest Ever exam which i was preparing for last 2 years  with only 10 days remaining . Completely ready to put last time effort , gave my 100% in those 10 days , then came the BIG day , tried to be as cool as possible but the exam didn't go well . Completely depressed :(:(
Could not controll myself ........ gave another exams VITEEE , ISAT , NDA half heartidly . Now only 15 days left for AIEEE , after JEE , this is going to decide my fate now , solved previous years question papers and revised basic formulas and at last exam went "better" . Then gave BITSAT half heartidly and as a result very poor score.
Then came result time :

Firstly , boards results came , got 93% 'more than expectations' . JEE result as expected "NOT QUALIFIED" . My all hopes were on AIEEE results at last it came with a bitter feeling "AIR - 12641 " (was expecting around 6k ) . But have to be satisfied with it .
Now all that counselling problem , consulted with many experts , googled for almost 2 months and at last got IT in NIT KURUKSHETRA . ( though was not very happy with it )
Then came college life . Not very pleased by the collage at first look , attendence rule , pathetic infrastructure and faculty - huh! dont ask about it . Even a govt. school in any village have better teachers than them .But i have to spend my 4 years here , so slowly adjusted myself . The best thing i found here is my friend circle .
Each friend is good enough . So because of them my first sem went awesome . There were internals , sessionals , practicals which we gave just without any tension .
At last came end sem exams . we were tensed about them as it was our first experience but everything went smoothly . I got good marks expect that of ED due to harsh checking , now looking forward to the results.

Though this year was not so good for me but it brought a happiness to me . I got a scholarship worth Rs.71000 . in BHASKAR GENIUS SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS . I secured second position here.

Now I am looking forward to 2012 , hopes it will be good for me.

aakash - the most awaited tablet pc

Last year, on July 22, when Human Resource Development Minister Kapil Sibal launched the prototype of a $35 low-cost computing device, the cheapest anywhere, critics said it would be impossible to develop.
But yesterday when kapil Sibal launched AAKASH- the world’s lowest priced (Rs 2,250 per unit) touch-screen computing and internet access device, which will allow people with humble means a chance to access the same set of web information which the rich access through more sophisticated devices , everyone was so surprised .
The computer, called Aakash, or "sky" in Hindi, is the latest in a series of "world's cheapest" innovations in India that include a 100,000 rupee ($2,040) compact Nano car, a 750 rupee ($15) water purifier and $2,000 open-heart surgery.
I personally feels this device can be a asset for our society . Still we don't know the limitations of this device . But with 1100 rupees , we can't even buy a mobile phone ( touch screen , wifi ,) . So it is for sure , buying this will be no wastage of money and rather for poor people it will mean a lot .
I m gonna buy it as soon as it is available.
"A person learns quite fast when they have a computer at home," said Shashank Kumar, 21, a computer engineering student from Jodhpur, Bihar, who was one of five people selected in his northern state to travel to villages and demonstrate the device. "In just a few years people can even become hackers.
